Just photos from one evening (4 August) when I take refuge from the heat in the nearest park to my part of town, which we still call "the new park" because it was created last year. There was a very welcome cool breeze and no mosquitoes or other biting insects because the Municipality had sprayed against them and the effect still lasted. *sigh ( Read more... )

These are photos of this same artificial lake in my home town... only it wasn't frozen this time because it was summer. :)

The building that is reflected in a water is a hotel, and there are also a restaurant and a cafe on the ground floor.

I went to visit my friend Galya, who lives exactly at the opposite end of town from me. The weather kept changing all day, but was mostly sunny. Then it had to start raining exactly when it was time for me to get off the trolley bus, and my umbrela wasn't of any use in the wind, but the rain wasn't very strong and the distance I had to walk wasn't ( Read more... )
